Strikes immediately with aromas of dark plum and a blackberry, mulberry-like combination. The palate is smooth and delightfully balanced, yet there’s real power behind here with some oak, a little bit of spicy pepper, and a firm fine tannin thread to hold the line through to its long finish. Well-structured, most poised wine.
